- Oversee and ensure strict compliance with ISO standards related to Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBT) and provide regular safety training sessions to the workforce to enhance their understanding of safety protocols and practices.
- Perform daily inspections of the workplace to identify and address potential hazards promptly.
- Ensure that all local safety standards and regulations are rigorously followed within the organization.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation to demonstrate compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments every six months to identify potential safety risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular safety tours of the facility and work diligently to resolve any identified non-compliance issues.
- Schedule and plan third-party inspections and safety training sessions as needed to maintain compliance and enhance safety awareness.
- Confirm that all machinery and equipment are in safe working condition and possess the required certifications, if applicable.
- Foster a safety culture by engaging in daily discussions with workers, emphasizing the importance of safety in all activities.
- Investigate accidents and near misses to identify their root causes and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Provide assistance in arranging and managing the warehouse for optimal safety and efficiency.
- Manage scrap to reduce losses and prevent the accumulation of waste.
- Coordinate with scrap vendors for proper disposal of scrap materials.
- Collaborate with chemical waste disposal firms to ensure safe disposal of plant and lab waste.
- Regularly review and audit current regulatory and compliance changes to ensure continued adherence.
- Report compliance issues to higher management and recommend necessary changes and improvements to enhance HSE performance.
