HEAVY WEIGHT DRILL PIPES
The heavy weight drill pipes (HWDP) made with a strict quality control process from initial materials selection to final inspection.
The HWDP could be integral type or friction-welded type.
The HWDP could be slick or spiral type
Sizes range : 2.7/8” to 6.5/8”
Material (integral type): The material of integral HWDP is manufactured from one piece of AISI 4145H solid bar.
Material (friction-welded type): The tool joints are manufactured from AISI 4145H or 4137H alloy steel and the central pipe is manufactured from AISI 1340 alloy steel.
Designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7-1.
DRILL COLLARS
The drill collars are made of AISI 4145H or 4145H modified alloy steel. All drill collars are quenched and tempered along overall length.
Drill Collars could be of slick drill collars or spiral drill collars with slip, elevator recesses and hardbanding upon client’s option.
Drill Collars are available in lengths from 10 to 45 feet and outside diameter from 3-1/8″ to 11″.
Drill Collars could be with high torque threads such as Double shoulder NC31, NC38, NC46, NC50 and 5-1/2”FH as specified by clients.

KELLY
Kellys are made from 4145H modified alloy steel in accordance with API Spec.7-1 latest edition, which are quenched and tempered along full length.
A hardness range of 285 to 341 BHN and a minimum impact value of 54 Joules as per ASTM A 370 Charpy-V.
Kellys could be of Square or Hexagonal type, upon client’s option.
Kellys’ connections fitted with pressed steel thread protectors on both ends.
Shipped with steel scabbard for marine transportation.
